Rwandan Afrobeat artiste Bruce Melodie commemorates the 10th anniversary of his breakout record. Bruce Melodie, a master of the live music performance did the show that has more than seven thousands live spectaculars and more than 50 million fans through online streaming. In addition to being the most prolific artist in Rwanda, Bruce Melodie is also the artist who has signed contracts to promote more local companies in Rwanda and is also the only Rwandan artist to have signed a so-called billion contract.

Bruce Melodie is one of the most popular musicians in our country, having built bands and history in his only 10 years in music.  He is one of the few artists who never breaks and is constantly releasing new music every day.  Bruce Melodie is also one of the few artists to be blessed with the fact that he has never released a song that he is not famous for.
 The Childhood and Growth  of Bruce Melodie
 The 29-year -old music star Bruce Itahiwacu was born on March 2, 1992, in Kicukiro district in Kanombe known from Gervain Ntibihangana and Velene Muteteri as parents He attended primary school at Camp kanombe primary school and continued at Rwamagana Islamic Secondary School.

Bruce Melodie grew up singing at the Kanombe Church, composing songs for them but giving them to others who would lead the songs, Bruce Melodie says he was not given the opportunity to perform.  It saddened him that he left, and later went to the studio in 2006, to Producer Jackson Daddoey but the song never ended.  The producer did not finish the song and his brother, Naason, later gave it to him and the song failed him too,  That made him feel like he was giving up music.
 He returned to the studio in 2010, performing a song called “inkovu” which translates to scars but because of the studies, he didn’t get much time to advertise it.  He returned to the studio in 2011 to perform a song called “Ngiye kubivuga “ and later did “tubivemo “by Producer Fazzo, which is what Bruce Melodie said he would call his first songs.  "Tubivemo”  is the song he made that felt like it was going to happen.

 The song Tubivemo was the one that bought him popularity in Rwandan music after Bruce Melodie was selected as one of the singers who will help the artists sing in the Primus Guma Guma Superstar competition.  It’s a job he says has helped him meet great artists and broadened his ability to help the family and invest in his music.
 The following year in 2012, the young man was shocked, and his song "Tubivemo" came and led the music charts all over the country The artistry of the original sound in his song made producer Ishimwe Clement, who at the time was working with EAP, who was in charge of finding artists to help with the backing artists, among the artists he thought of and immediately told Bruce  Melody who was in it will be promoted by producer Fazzo.
 In 2013, Bruce Melodie no longer agreed to do the show but began to put more effort into promoting his music career, as well as his skill set and a bright future that made the Super level house dating him start to work, at which point the activities really took off.
 It was in 2014 that he was included in the East African Promoters' books as the artist who participated in the competition for the first time and finished in third place.  That same year, Bruce Melodie won the Salax Awards for Best R&B Artist.  Bruce Melodie has been one of the most successful artists ever since. 
 As is well known Bruce Bruce Melodie has not been a frustrated artist since 2014 and still holds various awards.  Most of them are difficult to describe in
 2014 Bruce Melodie wins Best R&B Artist at Salax Awards and in 2018 he wins Primus Guma Guma Superstar S8 and in 2019 he wins 3 awards which is the Best Male Artist at Salax Awards, that year and Bruce  Melodie wins Best Summer Artist at the Kiss Summer Awards 2019 and Best Video at the HiPipo Awards.

 The year 2020 is the year that once again watering down artist Bruce Melodie every song he makes is famous.  This earned him the Best summer Artist award at the Kiss Summer Awards 2020 and in 2021 he won it again.
 In the Isango na Musika Awards Bruce Melodie was nominated in the 2020 awards he was also the winner of the Best Male Artist of the Year award.
 This year 2021 also at the outset won the Male Artist of the Year award at The Choice Awards 2020 which was presented in February and he then recently won the Kiss summer awards 2021 award again.

 Bruce Melodie is the only Rwandan artist to participate in the 2017 Coke Studio competition where he has met internationally renowned artists such as Khaligraph Jones and recently collaborated on a new song called "Sawa Sawa"
 Bruce Melodie is the first Rwandan artist to sign a billion frw , multi-million frw contract with Food Bundles, a food distribution company in Africa which that later signed a $ 150,000 contract with Kigali Arena.

 Bruce Melodie is now the second most followed artist in Rwanda on Twitter and Instagram where he is followed by 42,000 on Twitter and 706,000 on Instagram.
