Bruce Melodie has shed some light to his 10 years concert for the first time since the show
In an interview with the Yago Tv Show, Bruce Melodie gave a spin on the highlights of his concert, what made him happy, what saddened him, and what lessons he learned.
Bruce went on to say that he was not happy with the way some people didn't get the  tickets, and was surprised by the joy of the audience
“First and foremost, things did not go smoothly completely  because our plans are not God’s plans.Firstly there were people who did not get tickets to the concert because of the covid-19 prevention instructions, secondly there were people who bought tickets earlier but because of the rain in the evening it made them not come.  As far as I saw after the concert, there was a 98% success of the show. "
"I usually don't like to hide things, what I said at the stage was what surprised me. The other thing I wanted to talk about  was the happiness people had, that's what I don't like to see often  It's the first time I've seen a concert where people are happy and not lying. It was a day  I will never forget.  I’ve performed in many concerts with even bigger number than mine and you find people rejoicing, but that day people were so happy that I feel like it should not end there. "
Although Bruce Melodie didn’t confirm the statement he later went on to reveal that they were disappointed in one way or another and that some of their plans did not come to live “ there is no small concert. Disappointment is inevitable sometimes and take everything you didn't see there as it was never planned. I had more exciting plans for that day but didn't see light, but with God and experience, you just find a new way to solve an equation “
Bruce Melodie confirmed that some people had to come but rather disappointed him and went through the ongoing conversation between him and Sony Music
"Some of the people we had planned to do at the dance had serious reasons for their absence, which meant that what I did was not what I had planned and as an adult and skilled musician the concert was supposed to move on  and do what I had to do."
Asked if Sony Music was present , Bruce Melodie said: "Sony was there. I don't know if you even saw it when I was advertising my concert which is going to be aired  on various television and social media sites “
The sponsors, on the other hand, came to see what they sponsored , only the conversations that are going on behind the scenes are near the end , if we need to release anything to press, we will just tell contact you but what I can tell you  is that so far it is going well. "
Bruce Melodie insisted that he wanted to teach  Kenny Sol and Juno Kizigenza a lesson even though Kenny Sol surprised him at the stage
Kenny Sol surprised me at the dance because we had not agreed that he would come to sing.  I was counting my 10 years and Kenny Sol was one. I had given them peace of mind to continue their plans, the other thing Kenny Sol who had just left the Movember Fest so it is not good for someone to just work without a break he had been invited to come and watch his concert with Juno. "
Then Juno Kizigenza, who had a concert in the next week wouldn't sing  and I say come and see how I do it and learn what I am doing wrong and you will correct it," he continued.
Bringing dancers to my concert was not necessary
"Fellow Rwandans, allow me to talk freely, when I imitate things you say that I imitated you and do not imitate you say that I do not look up to others why are you neutral  I do not want to imitate people who each have their own way.
Let me ask you what if dancing would distract my people place , I just wanted to to be around my people and that was my 10th year of not dancing This is also done depending on who you are and who you are going to do it for.
Although I said that some of my plans were unsuccessful, it had nothing to do with dancing, our people are hard to convince we are one of the countries with people who are hard to catch up with so it turned out that they were paying and they were not happy and now it's time for me to dance."
People who came that day were the ones from 2012 so I didn’t want to distract them to show them anything other than my music. So I didn’t despise people but I showed them the real me. There are a lot of other concerts coming up in which you will find those things but that was my concert and what I gave them was what was available at that time.
Bruce Melodie once again warns his comparisons to Meddy and The Ben
"There is something that people tend to get out of their minds. I m not in competition with Meddy and The Ben. I have my clients who also have their own. I'm in the Rwandan market. Other people don't work here.  the way we work is not the same and they do not work in the same way “
You can't compare the way we work and remember what I told you last time you that these quiet boys are working quietly and I'm free, you feel incompatibility,  The person who is comparing us is comparing things that have nothing to do with each other. "
Now you can hear Meddy singing what I sing, I do all the genres and I don't base my singing career on just love songs when you look at those two men, they preach love through their all songs totally different with me.
I sing it all, you want to compare us to that would be  difficult for you and that is why there is such confusion and I have nothing to do with everything we do.
Speaking of what you don't stand for is called gossip Bruce Melodie responds to Fatakumavuta
If the person is not there, he or she should ask those present otherwise there will be no lazy gossiper. If you chose to be a gossiper then strengthen your boots and go to the field to collect the reality and if you say things that you do not stand for the I have nothing else to tell you. I do not talk to people who are not present.
If he is happy that he did not come to my concert, I and the other artists will see who he  will invite, if a journalist does not come to my concert when he still  works on the radio or television, where will he get me and while they do not attend my concert.
I don't think anyone who doesn't know what to think has the right to think about things that he has not achieved yet ,to say things that they don't know and to disrespect people they don't know.  I am saddened by the children of this man and his family.
Fatakumavuta and even though there is no hatred but if he invites me to his concert I did not go there because I am afraid of other problems and he did not attend my concert, especially since even the album he says is not there except one song he did with rapper Khalfan. "
Bruce Melodie apologizes to rapper Fireman and denies rumors about his relationship with Amag The Black.
It was rumoured right after the concert that the rapper Amag the Black cried in the backstage but Bruce Melode denied that allegations and added that people who were there testifies the different story
“I am famous now because of Amag The Black, there is a big difference in way that I take Amag In and the way himself takes me, me and him lived in a very hard life than today’s and and I am now eligible to live with anyone in this life I am living today”
Let me first apologize to Fireman, even though there are others who just didn't sing Fireman was the one who didn't be informed  because the concert is so full of things.  When Fireman arrived we had to sing our hit song “Umuhungu wa muzika “ to the stage but because the corona test too so long to finish we had to cut the show into pieces and that's how we got rid of him but he was present that day.

"As for the ones we grew up with, the ones we worked with were a lot of people including Amag, Bull Dog, Fireman, Jay c, Piano and Fazzo and many others but Amag The Black stands for everyone that's why we even spent so much time together at the stage.
Bruce Melodie once again thanked everyone who has been with him for nearly 10 years for his music, who came to support him in his concert including the artists who helped him perform and thanked the Rwandan Former Misses  for coming and throwing their arms around his shoulders.
