French firms to invest in Rwanda

Today, in an interview with reporters, Mr. Frank revealed that they are interested in investing in tourism, agriculture, transportation, infrastructure, technology, and other sectors that will see promising projects.  "We came to the point of investing because we want to do business that is profitable for both countries, in a win-win situation," he said.

The French government spends at least three billion euros on major African projects.  There are reports that a headquarters for the integration of universities and academic affairs in France will be built in Rwanda.  The project, which has already been considered, is yet to be completed.  So this can make it easier for those who want to go and buy knowledge in France.  In addition, artists, craftsmen are about to start being sent to France for training and mentoring.

Large scale French projects will operate in Rwanda

After arriving in Rwanda from Uganda, the Minister of Trade in France, Mr. Franck RIESTER, told reporters that France plans to invest in Rwanda millions of euros.  He declined to comment, but said there would be a number of projects that would work with Rwanda.

He said he had brought in investors from 30 companies that would invest in various sectors of Rwanda's health. These sectors include water management, health, improving the capacity of young people to do well, agriculture, technology, education, to name a few.

Franck RIESTER said: "We will work together to improve water supply, health care, and help young Rwandans learn more about their work and other aspects of the country's health."

He said he had arrived in Rwanda as part of a recent coronation of relations between the two heads of state, which officially began when French President Emmanuel Macron visited Rwanda five months ago , Riester said the economic relationship between Rwanda and France will be based on what he calls  rélation gagnant-gagnant.

It is a relationship where each country benefits from what the other does in a way that you can call a “win-win Situation” Among the 30 companies that the French Minister of Trade says will work with Rwandan investors is Business France.

Business France is a French company that strives for the profitability of French investment companies for the development of France.

It has another responsibility to provide foreign investors with the information they need to start investing in France.

It provides economic and legal advisers who will help those who want to invest in France to do so knowing what they are up to, i.e. the benefits and consequences.

After leaving Rwanda he continued his trip to Kenya, So far, France has begun to invest in Rwanda.These include telecommunications companies such as Canal +, and even last weekend, the French showed the media the French users' museum called the Culturel Francophone Center at Rugando in Kimihurura Sector in Gasabo District.

It also has an embassy in Rwanda that was also opened after Emmanuel Macron's visit.The Rwandan Minister of Sports, Mrs. Aurore Mimosa Munyangaju, recently received a group of French members of the France Sport Expertise.

They discussed how France could help Rwanda develop its sport by promoting sports infrastructure in Rwanda, the group was led by Julie Mantout, the French Ambassador to Rwanda, Mr. Antoine Anfré, was also present.
