Marina may get indicted due to the inconvenience with The Mane Music contract

In doing so, Bad Rama said that Marina as one of the former members of the label didn’t follow the contract clauses before her resignation and that he has all rights to get help from the law if he wants to.

The main reason for this is that Marina got out of the label before the break-even point of all the expenses as it was expected to be achieved within 10 years signed contract, in fact, it led to the loss of the label as he expresses. 

Bad Rama aimed at getting into the music industry after going astray from the music back in 2005 when he realized that singing was none of his talents and decides to come back as an investor.

“I didn’t have a clue on what I would come back doing in the entertainment, neither singing, film acting, film director nor whatever but I had the plan of coming back in the music. That’s why I decided to found The Mane Music Label that achieved more and more than 90% of its five years goals were achieved” Bad Rama said.

He went on to say that the music business is that hard more than any other sort of business as he bases it on it saying that getting lost is such a normal thing. “Our business is very hard, it’s neither similar to selling rice nor salt” He emphasized.

“Label is like a kindergarten where you do so much more than what people see, within five years I taught the artists the way of manner, working system and changing them to better following their background,” He said.

Is The Mane Really At Its End?  

Bad Rama says that he wasn’t surprised by the resignations of the artists when he was in the USA because anytime an artist wants to resign may do so, whether he is in Rwanda or abroad. All the resigning letters came informing that the artists resigned due to their personal development.

Why do artists and recording labels CEOs depart? 

Artists depart from the labels due to many reasons, even very few of them get known in the press. The depart Queen Cha didn’t surprise me as we once discussed it and no problem with that.

“I was surprised by Aristide Gahunzire resignation” 

He said “Sincerely speaking I was surprised by the resignation of Aristide Gahunzire and Marina because they didn’t tell me what was going on” Bad Rama clarified.

Bad Rama accuses the press of being biased

 “Press has to balance their stories instead of being biased,” He said

Normally Bad Rama entered the entertainment in 2005 and failed the music which motivated him to hustle hard in other fields and later came back as an investor in 2017 by establishing The Mane Music Label that included: Marina, Queen Cha, Safi Madiba, Jay Polly, and Calvin Mbanda who is currently the only one member of the label.

Bad Rama may seek help from the court accusing Marina of not fulfilling the contract and pay back all the expenses made on her including her stage name.
