Nigerian singer Mr. Eazi Vows To Invest In Rwanda
Nigerian-Ghanaian singer and African superstar Mr. Eazi has vowed to invest in Rwanda following his meeting with senior officials at Rwanda Development Board (RDB) to discuss potential areas of investment.
The singer, real name Oluwatosin Ajibade, who is known for his business acumen, is in Rwanda to take part in the inaugural Basketball Africa League (The BAL) which tips off on May 16.
“Earlier today, Nigerian artist, @mreazi visited RDB to explore business and investment opportunities in Rwanda. He’s particularly interested in the country’s creative, e-payments and gaming sectors,” RDB, the government institution charged with promoting investment and tourism tweeted on Wednesday evening, to which the Banku star responded “Let’s Get It” with the hashtags #InvestInRwanda and #VisitRwanda.Lucky Philip, the Head of Investment and Market at RDB, said that the singer was interested in knowing the opportunities that are there and how he can come in to invest.

“As you know Eazi is here to perform at BAL. but he also looking to invest in Rwanda. He is particularly interested in Rwanda’s creative industry, gaming sector, and e-payments,”
“He basically wanted to under the investment opportunities in the three areas and the incentives that can benefit his business in Rwanda,” Philip said.

The ‘Banku music’ star and emPawa Africa founder is among a host of stars who will participate in The BAL which tips off on May 16, with the finals scheduled for May 30 at Kigali Arena.
